India’s COVID-19 Count Rises To 1,58,333, About 6 Thousand Plus Cases Being Reported Daily
Mumbai: India’s count of Covid-19 has increased to 1,58,333 with 6,566 fresh positive cases and 194 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
The virus that has bowed the world economy and health administration have claimed over 4,531 lives in India. The total number of active cases is 86,110 in a country that has recovered about 67,692 patients.
Maharashtra’s figure has surged to 56,948 followed by Tamil Nadu and Delhi with 18,545 and 15,257 cases respectively.
Delhi has outnumbered Gujarat’s tally by a few numbers that currently witnesses 15,195 Covid-19 cases as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The ever-revolving figures in the state of Maharashtra have confined its people and the government to take strict decisions in order to contain the spread of the virus.
India, however, is looking at easing lockdown at various places, strictly prohibiting activities in the containment zones.
