India’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate Now 49.95 pc
Mumbai: According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the recovery rate of COVID-19 in the country is currently 49.95 percent with a total of 1,54,329 patients cured.
The ministry said that 7,135 patients infected with the virus have been cured in the last 24 hours in the country.
Testing capacity has also increased significantly and currently, a total of 885 labs, including 642 government and 243 private, are testing for COVID-19.
MoHFW said, “1,43,737 samples were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of samples tested so far is 55,07,182.”
Meanwhile, there are 1,45,779 active cases of infection in the country, while the disease has caused 8,884 deaths.
