INDvBAN: India Looking In Commanding Position To Get The Big Total At The End Of Day1
Mumbai: It took a half-hour to clean remaining wicket after the tea break. Ishant on the first ball after tea got the edge of Liton Das. A rocket arm throw from Jadeja from the deep point got the wicket of Taijul Islam and Ebadot Hossain was bowled by a beautiful out-swing from Umesh Yadav.
It was a nice pitch to bat on, and Indian batsman proved that at the end of Day one India is at 86/1 trailing by 64 runs. It looked like Indian bowlers were the only who were making perfect use of the pitch as Bangladesh seamers didn’t that swing or seam movement. Abu Jayed provided the early breakthrough by taking the edge off Rohit Sharma and dismissing him for 6.
Pujara has not been in good form since the last two series. He hasn’t got a hundred in 2 series. Pujara here started well and at a point, he was 34 of 39. He was looking to get the runs. On the other hand, Mayank Agarwal started slowly but as he settled he was looking good and good. Pujara is Batting at 43* and Mayank is batting at 37*. I think India will again look to put the massive score of above 500. Let’s see what 2nd day has stored for us.
