INDVsBAN: Deepak Chahar’s Six Wickets Helps India To Clinch T20 Series

Mumbai: India finally registered its first T20 series win in 2019. Well, early innings saw a bit struggle for Indian batsman but KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer played a fabulous knock which helped team India to set the defendable score in the final decider of 3 matches T20 series.

A toss that was lost by India and Bangladesh choose to ball first but in Nagpur, the teams that have batted first have got the most success.

Rohit who played a wonderful knock in Rajkot failed to continue his form and Shikhar just had a series to forget as he made just 19 of 16 didn’t really get going. KL Rahul adjusted here well and made 52 off 35. But the best was yet to come as Shreyas Iyer made 62 off 33 and helped the team to set defendable score. The final flourish was given by Manish Pandey as made 22 off 13 and got India to the total which was above par.

Another series, Another match but the struggle for Rishabh Pant continues as he failed to prove his spot again he got to bat at number four but he made just 6 runs off 9 balls. India set the target of 176 runs with the loss of 5 wickets.

Chasing the target, Bangladesh lost two early wickets, Deepak struck again which brought pressure on Bangladesh, meanwhile Mohammad Naim played an outstanding inning of 81 runs which brought Bangla band in the match he had 98 run partnership with Mithun.

Well, Indian bowlers were facing problems due to deu on the ground but it was again Deepak Chahar who broke the partnership and rest it was just a formality. On the other hand, Young Shivam Dubey made a good comeback by the ball as he picked up 3 wickets for 30 runs.

Deepak Chahar picked last three wickets in a row and got hat-trick he completed with 6 wickets and conceding just 7 runs it is the world record for best bowling figure in T20I’s.

As the ball was not swinging and Deepak is a swing bowler still using his variations he didn’t allow Bangladesh batsman to get over him. It looks like India has finally got a partner with Jasprit Bumrah to bowl in final overs.

Man of the match was Deepak Chahar for his best figures of 6-7. He was also the Man of the series for his 8 wickets in the series at an economy of 5.

Test series between India and Bangladesh will begin from 14th November and 1st test is to be played in Indore.
