IPL 13: Most impressed by “Collective Bowling” Says Eoin Morgan

Mumbai: It was a must-win game for both Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders as the losing team will be out of the tournament this year. And it was King Khan’s team KKR who defeated RR by 60 runs in the Indian Premier League here on Sunday.

Following which, KKR skipper Eoin Morgan said that he was most impressed by the bowling department.

“We seem to post about a par score. The impressive thing was our collective bowling. I think we were absolutely outstanding… Given that we have given everything in our performance today, the mood in the camp is good. Regardless of qualification, we feel we have given everything that we have,” he added.

Morgan said, “I think that looking at the performance, it was an improvement from the last game. Our conditions were the worst in the last game we played. Today, we realized that there was no use to batting or bowling first.”

Morgan gave KKR an unbeaten 68-run knock, scoring a total of 191 runs on the board. Pat Cummins took four wickets in the match as the Rajasthan Royals managed to score 131 runs in just 20 overs.

KKR currently holds the fourth spot on the table with 14 points.
