Isarel To Help India In Dealing With Water Storage

Mumbai: In a recent development, Israel has expressed its eagerness to share its experience in dealing with desert and water management because India is experiencing water scarcity and drought conditions in severe parts of the country.

Israel has developed many solutions for desertification through more than 60 per cent of its area’s desert and 20 per cent semi-arid land, through the management of desert agriculture, irrigation, desalination, aquaculture, afforestation and water resources.

Israeli ambassador Ron Malka said, “As part of our growing partnership with India, Israel is eager to work together and share all its experience and state-of-the-art technology in a joint fight against desert management.”

His statement came in the context of desertification in the combination of World Day, which is celebrated on 17th June to promote public awareness towards the efforts of internationalization.
