It Is A Clear Case Of Suicide: Cops On The Death Of Accuse In Saidabad Rape Case

The Telangana rape and murder accused was found dead on railway tracks on Friday

Mumbai: The accused in Saidabad Rape, who brutally raped and killed a 6-year-old girl was found dead on the railway track near Jangaon district on Thursday. DGP M Mahendar Reddy said that there is no assumption about the man’s death and is a clear case of Suicide. The DGP said, “This is 100 per cent a case of suicide. No one should have any doubts regarding that. We have videos of the statements of all seven eyewitnesses and there is no need for anyone to lie on this matter. ”

Two loco pilots of the Konark Express, two farmers, two staffers of Indian Railways and the station master at Ghanpur have given their statements to the police officers. He said that as soon as the two loco pilots saw the accused run over by the train, they informed the station master. The incident was recorded in the Railway’s information system.

Two gang men, who were on duty during the incident, said that they saw the accused moving towards the tracks suspicious and were informed by two farmers as well, The Indian Express reported.
