“It Was A Choice To make And The Choice Was Mine”: Shraddha Kapoor On Backing Off From Saina Nehwal’s Biopic

Mumbai: Aashiqui 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor’s films are lined up one after the other. Recently, a big 350crore budget film Saaho has been released on 30th August, opposite the Baahubali actor Prabhas. Soon after a week on 6th September she came up with a multi starter film Chhichhore. And now she recently wrapped up shoot for ABCD2 ‘s sequel Street Dancer3D directed by the choreographer Remo D’souza, which will be released next year in January 2020.

Also, she was shooting for Saina Nehwal’s biopic and suddenly she backed off from the project. She was literally hopping from one film set to another but she lost one of the films. Although she started shooting for the film she backed off from the project because of her health and date issues, “I had to opt-out of it because Street Dancer came my way and it all boiled down to allotting dates, which was not possible. Remo sir had given me ABCD2, so there is no way I would say no to him. I loved the Street Dancer script and he has been my guru, so he plays a big part,” she explained. Despite started shooting for the film and being the all-time favourite badminton player’s biopic she refused to work.

After Shraddha Kapoor, now Parineeti Chopra has been roped for biopic film based on badminton player Saina Nehwal directed by Amol Gupte.

However, Shraddha has no regrets about missing out the film because she was suffering from dengue, she had to take this decision, “I didn’t even ask. I got dengue and it got pushed already, so it was a choice to make and the choice was mine.” Though it was a big project but the health is always first, hope Shraddha Kapoor is all fit and fine.

And no doubt she is currently winning hearts from the audience, as her two films are going on screens. Her performance in Saaho is on the next level because she has done the action scenes/stunts with the Rebel Star Prabhas. Also, Chhichhore is gaining enough love from the public.
