Mumbai: After registering 793 deaths due to coronavirus on Saturday, Italy on Sunday recorded 651 deaths, taking the toll to 5,476.
The Civil Protection Agency said the number of cases in Italy had increased from the previous 53,578 to 59,138, an increase of 10.4%, the Civil Protection Agency said the lowest increase in percentage was on 21 February.
Of the originally infected, 7,024 fully recovered on Sunday, compared to 6,072 the day before. There were 3,009 people in intensive care compared to the previous 2,857.
The most difficult northern region of Lombardy remained in a critical condition, with 3,456 deaths and 27,206 cases against the 3,095 and 25,515 previously awarded.
