Jaganmohan Reddy Unanimously Elected Leader Of YSRC Legislative Party

Mumbai: According to media reports YS Jaganmohan Reddy was unanimously elected leader of the YSRC legislative party.

Party sources said that the meeting of newly elected MLAs in the YSR Congress office lasted 45 minutes.

Thanking the legislators for choosing them as leader of the legislature party, Reddy said, “In 2019, people voted for us with trust and confidence, due to our performance in 2024, we should give a big mandate. ”

Sources said that after the election of Reddy, Governor E.D. V. L. Narasimhan will be informed on Saturday to claim the formation of government in the state.

The party had earlier announced that the swearing-in ceremony will be held on May 30 at the Indira Gandhi Nagar Stadium of the city.

In a splendid display, Reddy’s YSR Congress won 151 out of 175 assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh, for which elections were held on 11th April.
