Mumbai: Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022 due to a back injury.
The choice was taken following an itemized evaluation and in counsel with the trained professionals. Bumrah, was at first precluded from the continuous Mastercard 3-match T20I series against South Africa because of a back physical issue. The BCCI will be naming a trade for Jasprit Bumrah in the crew for the marquee competition soon.
Prior, there were expects the pacer to get back in the saddle inside four to about a month and a half. Indeed, even the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and lead trainer Rahul Dravid were confident of Bumrah recuperating in time or it appears, they were hanging tight for the authority affirmation from the clinical group.

Jasprit Bumrah also missed action in the Asia Cup due to a back injury and it is surprising to see him out of action now. Also, he was rested for India’s games this year to manage his workload and played only five T20Is in the whole of 2022.
His injury is a major blow to India, who were relying on the fast bowler for their four overs, especially in the death overs. With India’s recent record being extremely poor in the last five overs, it remains to be seen who replaces Bumrah. Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Shami are included in the reserve, while recently it was reported that Umran Malik and Mohammad Siraj have also been included in the reserve list.
