Jharkhand Results : JMM Alliance Leading On 42 Out Of 81 Seats
JMM leader Hemant Soren, who was projected as the face of the chief minister, was leading in Barnet seats but trailing in Dumka constituency
Mumbai: With the counting of votes for the state assembly elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) -led coalition leads in 42 seats out of 81 seats. While the ruling BJP was leading in 28 seats and its ally AJSU in 3 seats.
The JMM is ahead in 26 seats in the JMM-alliance, while Congress is on 11 and RJD in 5 seats.

In others, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) is leading in 5 assembly seats, Nationalist Congress Party and CPI (M-L) in one seat each. JMM leader Hemant Soren, who was projected as the face of the chief minister, was leading in Barnet seats but trailing in Dumka constituency.
The exit poll had predicted marginal gains to the JMM-led coalition and pointed to a hung assembly. JMM contested on 43 seats, Congress on 31 and Lalu Prasad’s RJD on seven seats with relatively less presence in the state.
