J&K Update: Infiltration Bid By Pak Army-Backed Terrorists Foiled In Uri

Mumbai: An infiltration bid by Pakistan army-backed terrorists was foiled by the Indian army troops filed in the Uri Dhulanja post along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A massive search operation was launched by the forces on Wednesday after the infiltration bid was foiled.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the Army troops deployed along LoC foiled an infiltration bid near Dhulanja post in Rewand Nallah in Uri sector following which the whole area was cordoned off and the search operation was launched.

They said that the exchange of fire also took place when the bid was foiled last night.

The firing took place after the suspicious movement was noticed by troops in the area.

“Suspected movement on the LoC was fired last night, the area is being searched now,” said an official to KNO.
