J’Khand : PM Narendra Modi Laid The Foundation Of Several Irrigation Projects
Mumbai : Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of several irrigation projects in Jharkhand with a mandal dam of 2,391.36 crore, which provided irrigation to 19,604 hectares of area in Palamu and Garhwa districts.
As per reports PM handed over the of houses to five beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, before addressing the rally.

Mandal Dam, which started in 1972, but was stalled since 1993, will be built on North Kole river in Barwadih block of Latehar district.

Taking a dig at previous governments, Modi said “We consider farmers as ‘annadata’ (provider of food), unlike the previous governments who considered them as mere vote bank,” the prime minister said.
