Mumbai: Popular comic and TV show host Kapil Sharma is going to Netflix for his digital debut.
Although it is unclear whether the project is a comedy special, series or film, it will premiere in 2021 in 190 countries.
Sharma said that he is looking forward to his first engagement with Netflix.
The 39-year-old comic said in a statement, “2020 has been a tough ride for all around the world and I aim to make people forget their worries and welcome this new year with love, laughter and positivity.”

“I always wanted to be on Netflix but I didn’t have their numbers,” he quipped.
Sharma said that this project is close to his heart, “I cannot wait to share more information with my fans soon.”
