Karan Johar Is In ‘Deep Shock’ After Receiving Hatred Over Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar has been threatened with social media, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He was heavily criticized which left him in a “deep shock” and hence has been one of the major targets of the nepotism debate.

After Sushant’s demise, there were reports that the actor was let down by many Bollywood stars.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, a close friend of the filmmaker revealed that he was let off after spreading hatred after Sushant’s death.

He was quoted saying, “It’s the fact that those close to him are being attacked that makes Karan feel really guilty. His 3-year old twins are getting death threats. Somebody like Ananya Pandey who has no connection with Sushant had a hater on the social media platform asking her to commit suicide to compensate for Sushant’s death.”

Asked whether Karan intends to come out with a statement, he said, “None at all. Lawyers’ advice. Better to keep mum. Karan is not in a condition to speak. The fight is out of it. He looks like a man beaten by fate. It’s not a pleasant experience to speak to Karan. He breaks down and cries when we call him. He is constantly crying and asking what he has done to deserve this.”

Meanwhile, Bandra Police has interrogated over 30 people in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. As per the reports, they will summon director Shekhar Kapur next and his statement will be a crucial one for the case.
