Mumbai: On the occasion of Pakistan’s Defence and Martyrs Day, Pak PM Imran Khan said that the whole world would be responsible for the consequences if they failed to pay attention to Kashmir Issue.
“I have informed the world that Pakistan does not want war, but at the same time, Pakistan cannot remain oblivious to the challenges posed to its security and integrity,” PTI quoted Khan as saying.
He Said that the world community will be responsible for the “catastrophic consequences” if it fails to pay attention to India’s nuclear arsenal.
He also said that Kashmir is Pakistan’s “jugular vein” and India’s decision to revoke its special status poses challenges to the country’s security and integrity.
In his message on Pakistan’s Defence and Martyrs Day, Khan said that his government has launched a diplomatic campaign to apprise the world community over India’s decision to abrogate Article 370 in J&K on August 5.
Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Kashmir was the “unfulfilled agenda” of the completion of Pakistan.
He further said that it will remain so until the issue is resolved according to the UN resolutions.
Bajwa further said that Pakistan is ready to give sacrifice for Kashmiri brothers adding that it will fulfill its duty till last bullet, last soldiers and last breath.
