Mumbai: Panipat Starring Kriti Sanon, Arjun Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt continue it underperforms in the box office.
Grossing a total of Rs 22.48 crore by day 5, the historical war drama failed to meet its expectations of minting money in the weekdays.
Sharing the latest figures on his social media handle, Indian film, and trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed, “#Panipat continues to underperform… Fri 4.12 cr, Sat 5.78 cr, Sun 7.78 cr, Mon 2.59 cr, Tue 2.21 cr. Total: ₹ 22.48 cr. #India biz. (sic).”

Panipat presents the fierce journey of Sadashiv Rao Bhau (Arjun Kapoor), the Commander-in-Chief of the Maratha Army who leads a northern expedition to fight off the invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali (Sanjay Dutt), the King of Afghanistan.
On the other ‘Parvati Bai’ (Kriti Sanon) the queen of the reign also fights along with the brave warrior ‘Sadashiv Rao Bhau’ in the battle against the forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali.
The film revolves around the 18th century, the Maratha Empire reached its territorial peak. However, their happiness is short-lived as the Afghan king Ahmad Shah Abdali plans to take over India and the Maratha Peshwa Nanasaheb orders Sadashiv Rao Bhau to stop him at any cost, thus leading to the Third Battle of Panipat between the two armies.
