Mumbai: Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa has said the state has decided not to allow entry of people from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu till May 31. Yediyurappa announced there’ll be a complete lockdown on Sundays with the provision of essential services only.
State transport corporation buses and private buses will operate as will trains running within the state, he added.

In order to travel by bus, people should wear masks and maintain social distance mandatorily, said CM. Auto- taxi services will also be resumed in the state. While Sunday will be complete lockdown in the state.
Economic activities have been permitted to operate outside the containment zone and all other shops including barbershops will also be opened.
Karnataka till date has 1,147 COVID19 cases, while 37 have succumbed to the infection.
