Latest Rankings For T20I Batsmen Out, Virat Kohli Jumps One Spot

KL Rahul is the only other Indian in top 10

Mumbai: ICC today released the latest rankings for T20I batsmen, with India captain Virat Kohli jumping one spot to be ranked fourth. Whereas India batsmen Lokesh Rahul is still on No. 6

South African wicketkeeper-batsmen Quinton De Kock played an amazing inning against Sri Lanka in ODI series and secured a place in top 10 of ICC T20 Rankings. He has advanced 4 positions and reached no.8 spot.

He scored a total of 153 runs which included 59 off 46 delivers in the final match, that South Africa won by 10 wickets. This is by far his career’s best Ranking. He plays for Mumbai Indians in IPL.

. Currently the best T20 cricketer is England’s David Malan with 841 ratings followed by Pakistan’s Babar Azam on No. 2 and Australia’s Aron Finch at No.3.

Kusal Perera was one of the few bright spots in the series for Sri Lanka. Back after nursing a shoulder injury, he made an instant impact upon his return, scoring 69 runs in two matches and jumped 10 places to No.39.

There were also some movements in the ranking after the T20 series between Bangladesh and New Zealand. Blackcaps Skipper Tom Latham and Finn Allen both finished at 44th and 66th rank, respectively. Bangladesh’s Mohammad Naim and Mahmud Ullah too jumped three spots at 24 and 29, respectively.
