Leadership Of The Country Is In Strong Hands Will Not Compromise: Rajnath Singh On India-China Border Dispute

Mumbai: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that talks between India and China on the border dispute would continue and stressed that the country’s leadership would not compromise on the issue.

“The border dispute between India and China has been going on for a long time. We want to resolve it as soon as possible. The June 6 talks were very positive, and India and China agreed to continue negotiations to resolve the ongoing dispute Is expressed. I want to assure the people that the leadership of the country is in strong hands and we will not compromise with the country’s self-respect,” Singh said. 

The defence minister also said that he would give full details of the matter inside Parliament after some opposition leaders raised the demands.

“Today Rahul Gandhi and some opposition leaders said that the government should clarify what is happening on the Indo-China border. As the country’s defense minister, I want to say that whatever I have to say I will say it inside Parliament, I will not mislead the people,” Singh said.
