Lord Krishna Must Be Cursing Them: UP CM Yogi Adityanath On Akhilesh’s Remark

Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday hit out at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over his “Lord Krishna” remark.

Speaking at a government event in Aligarh, the chief minister said Lord Krishna would “curse” those in power and did nothing for Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, and Gokul.

Adityanath’s reply comes a day after the SP chief claimed that Lord Krishna appears in his dreams every night and told him that he would establish “Ram Rajya” in Uttar Pradesh after winning the state’s upcoming assembly elections.

Responding to his remarks, the Uttar Pradesh CM said, “They take the name of Lord Krishna and say that he comes in their dreams…Now Lord Krishna must be cursing him because he must be telling him that when you were in power, you were inciting riots, freeing terrorists, and now when someone is already getting Ram Temple built, you should at least seek an apology.”

CM said, “In the previous government, rioters and terrorists were called at the Chief Minister’s residence and were honored, now you must have seen that the rioters are selling vegetables.”

Adityanath said that while the previous government used to withdraw cases against terrorists, his government is building an ATS center to kill terrorists.

Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh are likely to be held next month.
