Madhya Pradesh Reports 778 New COVID19 Cases

Mumbai: A health department official said that Madhya Pradesh’s COVID-19 caseload increased to 1,75,603 on Friday with 778 more people testing positive for viral infection.

He said that with 12 new deaths, the death toll reached 3,004.

A total of 856 patients were discharged from hospitals from Thursday evening, taking the state’s total recovery number to 1,64,923.

The official said that two COVID-19 patients died in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Rajgarh and one patient each in Sagar, Betul, Khandwa, and Damoh districts.

In 778 new cases, there are 179 in Bhopal, 74 in Indore, 55 in Gwalior, and 26 in Jabalpur.

The number of cases reported so far in the Indore district rose to 34,447, including 687 deaths, while the Bhopal case stood at 25,720 with 487 deaths.

The coronavirus figures of MP are as follows: Total cases 1,75,603, new cases 778, death toll 3,004, 1,64,923, active cases 7,676, the number of people recovered so far is 30,96,294.
