Maha Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Warns Stricter Measures If Lockdown Defied

Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said on Wednesday that if citizens continue to roam the streets, they will take drastic steps Warning of lifting. Lockdown.

Pawar’s warning came amid reports of people from several cities violating the lockdown rules.

He said that people are moving out of their homes in large numbers to buy vegetables and groceries and jeopardize the very purpose of measures taken by the central and state governments to investigate the spread of novel coronaviruses.

“People should learn and learn from Corona (virus) victims in the US, Italy and Spain. They should honour the sacrifices made by doctors, paramedical staff, police and sanitation workers who risked their lives in fighting the corona (virus) I have put in Deputy CM said.

Appealing to the people to stop the crowd to buy vegetables, he said that those who will behave irresponsibly and disobey the rules will not be spared.

Expressing concern over the increasing number of COVID-19 patients in Maharashtra, Pawar said that people buying vegetables in the morning in this context risked the very purpose of lockdown.

“(The government) will have to review the current situation and separate the people unnecessarily,” Pawar said.
Pawar further said that the fight against the coronavirus is getting a shock due to people who are behaving irresponsibly.

He added, “But irresponsible attitude will no longer be tolerated if the battle against the coronavirus is to be won.”

Pawar also said that departments such as Public Health, Home, Revenue, Food and Civil Supplies, Urban, Rural and others are working on a war footing to tackle COVID 19 and also thank those who are in their homes. Living inside

Maharashtra has till now reported 320 COVID19 positive cases including 12 deaths.
