Maha: Four Women Rescued From Spa In Thane; Manager Held
Mumbai: Four women were rescued by police from a spa in Maharashtra’s Thane city. Officials also arrested the manager for allegedly using the premises for flesh trade.
On a tip-off basis, Thane Police’s Anti-Human Trafficking Cell raided the elegant spa on Ghodbunder Road on Tuesday evening and rescued four women.
He said the police arrested spa manager Mohammad Junaid Habib Ullah Shah (28) on charges of using women for prostitution while hunting was started to apprehend the owner.
The officer said that offenses have been registered at Kasaravadavali police station under the relevant sections of IPC and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
