Maha Political Crisis: NCP Chief Sharad Pawar To Meet PM Narendra Modi In Parliament

Mumbai: Amid ongoing Maharashtra political crisis NCP president Sharad Pawar will be meeting PM Narendra Modi in parliament.

The meeting comes just two days after PM Modi, commended NCP for ‘not hurrying at the well’ in Parliament on issues of disagreement in his address to the Rajya Sabha on Monday and created a ruckus. “Today I want to commend the two parties, NCP and BJD.

These parties have surprisingly adhered to parliamentary norms. They never ventured into the well. They had made this point very effectively. A lot can be learned from these practices, ”PM Modi said in an address to address the 250th session of Parliament.

Confirming the news of Pawar meeting PM Modi, NCP leader Nawab Malik said that the meeting will take place around 12 pm in parliament.

“Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in Parliament, over the issue of Maharashtra farmers. We will demand some relief for the farmers, from the Prime Minister. The meeting between NCP chief Sharad Pawar & Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be held at 12 pm today in Parliament,” Malik said.
