Maharashtra: 185 Police Personnel Tested Positive For COVID19 In Last 48hrs

Mumbai: Amidst the worst situation of COVID19 in the state, Maharashtra police are standing in the frontline fighting against COVID19, but seem helpless before the deadly virus.

In the past 2 days, 185 new COVID19 positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra police, and 2 succumbed to the virus.

The total number of police personnel tested positive for the virus to date is 4288, while 3239 recovered from it and 51 lost their lives.

Currently, there are 998 active COVID19 cases from the police force of Maharashtra.

While the country has slowly started to recover from the COVID19 pandemic situation, Maharashtra with more than 136000 COVID19 cases still remains the worst-hit state in the country.
