Maharashtra Politics: Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena Files Petition In SC, Requests To Conduct Urgent Hearing Tonight

Mumbai: After another twist and change in the politics of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party and Congress approached the Supreme Court, Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari administered the oath of office to Devendra Fadnavis as the new CM of the state and NCP leader Ajit Made Pawar his deputy chief minister. The parties have demanded an immediate hearing tonight, reports the news agency ANI.

“Our people are there. The registry is currently open. They will decide on the urgency of the case. The petition has been filed on behalf of the three parties, the SC Registry is processing it for further action, ”said Devdutt Kamat, a senior advocate of the three parties.

Terming the new BJP government led by Fadnavis in Maharashtra as ‘illegitimate’, the parties in their petition in the apex court allegedly said, “There is nothing in the public domain as to how Mr Devendra Fadnavis and/or the BJP and how How Dawa Shakti was stopped between midnight of 22.11.2019 and 23.11.2019. ”

Meanwhile, Congress leader Randeep Sujewala has reached Supreme Court. He’s arguing with the security staff after he was not allowed to go inside the court to meet the SC staff.

The parties claimed that all the MLA’s of the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress are complete with the alliance except for Ajit Pawar.

“It is respectfully submitted that the proceedings of the Governor between the night of 22.11.2019 and 23.11.2019 will conclude between the swearing-in on 23.11.2019, a text-book of the Governor acting at the behest of a political party in power.” Is the example. In the morning, Fadnavis administered the oath to the state’s chief minister and NCP’s Ajit Pawar as his deputy. The political turn shocked the Shiv Sena and the Congress that together with NCP chief Sharad Pawar supported Uddhav Thackeray for the top job late last night.
