Make Some Babysitting Arrangements, India Is Ready, Gambhir On Australia Captain’s Pink Ball Challenge

Mumbai: After drawing his unbeaten streak at the Gabba, Australia captain Tim Paine challenged India captain Virat Kohli to play the Day / Night Test Down Under.

Speaking on this, former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir said that Kohli should not back down from accepting Paine’s offer.

India made their Pink Ball debut recently against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens and won the match by an innings. On this, Pine had said that Australia and India can also play the pink ball test if Virat Kohli gives his ‘permission’ and is in a ‘good mood’ to take up the offer.

Reacting to Pine’s snooty reaction to Virat Kohli, Gambhir said that he was in a place of the India captain, asking the Australian team to arrange some late-night baby seating for the day/night competition between the two teams.

Gambhir wrote in the Times of India, “The way Australia captain Tim Paine has” taken off “for India’s captain Virat Kohli, challenging him to play a day-night match on the next tour.

“He is not going to back out knowing Virat and why should he? A day-night Test match between India and Australia in Brisbane or MCG would be quite a spectacle. And you trust the Australian team to make it a truly memorable game.”

“I have not seen Virat’s reaction to Pine, but if I had been him, I would have told him directly to arrange for some late-night children’s seating because we are ready !!!” he added.
