“Mamata Didi Sends Me Kurta, B’desh PM Sends Me Sweets”, PM Modi To Akshay Kumar Talking About Oppositions

Mumbai: PM Modi recently had a non-political interview with Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar where he spoke about his daily routine and career in politics.

Meantime when he was asked about how good friends he has in opposition parties?, PM Modi said he has many good friends in oppositions as well. He mentioned Congress’ Ghulam Nabi Azad as his good friend and said that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee personally selects and send him kurtas.

“Mamata did saal mein aj bhi ek-do kurte khud select karne jati hain and sends me” (Mamata did on her goes and select kurtas for me), PM Modi.

“3-4 times in a year, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sends sweets to me, especially from Dhaka and when Mamata did got to know about this, she also sends sweets for me”, said PM while talking about relationships with oppositions.

PM than talking about Ghulam Nabi Azad (Indian National Congress) he said, “When I was not even chief minister (of Gujarat), I had gone to parliament for some work and there I met with Ghulam Nabi Azad and were having very friendly conversations. After coming out questions were raised by media that I am from RSS than how can I have good relation with Azad for which Azad gave a beautiful answer, Bahar jo Aap log Sochte ho, Aisa Nahi Hai. Shayad, Ek family Ke Roop Mein Jitna hum log Jude Hain Uski bahar Kalpana Nahi Kar Sakte” (What people think outside is not the reality. The relation which we have is like a family and cannot be imagined outside).

Although, PM said about good relation with his opponent’s things on the ground do not seem to be. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee had criticised PM Modi repeatedly many times.

Banerjee had an alleged PM on Sunday for demonetization causing hardship to the common man. She had even appealed that Bengal will answer by not casting a single vote to BJP.

In a public rally, she had taken a jibe countering PM, “He won in 2014 but the government has deprived Bengal in last 5 years.”

“Hitler’s uncle” was the word of CM Mamata on April 4 to the Prime Minister.

On the other hand on April 3, PM Modi had appeal people to “Breaks speed breaker, Didi.”
