Man Jumps From 5th Floor To Avoid Getting Caught By Girlfriend’s Husband In Jaipur; Dies

Mumbai: A 29-year-old man died after jumping from the fifth floor of a building in Jaipur to avoid getting caught by his girlfriend’s husband. The woman was in a live-in relationship with the deceased after running away from her home.

The deceased has been identified as Mohsin, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He was in a live-in relationship with a married woman. The two along with the woman’s minor daughter were living in a rented flat in a building under Pratap Nagar police station here, they said.

The woman had eloped with Mohsin from Nainital two years ago. Police said that her husband was looking for her and managed to trace her till Jaipur.

On Sunday, the woman’s husband went to the house where she was staying with Mohsin. Seeing him, Mohsin panicked and jumped from the balcony of the house. Pratap Nagar police station in-charge Balvir Singh told that the woman immediately took him to SMS Government Hospital, where he died on Monday night.

Mohsin and the woman had shifted to a flat near the NRI circle a few days back. He told that earlier he was living here in another area.

The woman and her husband are missing and a search is on for them. Mohsin’s body was handed over to his family members after the post-mortem on Tuesday, they said.
