Man Stabs Woman To Death At Goa Beach For Ending Relationship, Held
He said that the accused was angry with the woman as he had told her that she did not want to be with him
Mumbai: A 26-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 19-year-old woman to death at Goa’s Velsao beach after she refused to continue her relationship with him, police said.
Accused Kishan Kalangutkar (26) was arrested on Thursday, a day after the girl’s body was found on the beach, he said.
“The accused was in love with the young woman, who was studying in a college, and had travelled to the beach with her on Wednesday,” Superintendent of Police (South) Abhishek Dhania said.
He said that the accused was angry with the woman as he had told her that she did not want to be with him.
“The accused, angry with her, stabbed the victim several times, killing her on the spot and later dumped her body in the bushes located on the beach,” Dhania said.
After finding the body, the Vasco police began a probe and nabbed the accused within 24 hours, he said.
