Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, Among Star Campaigners For West Bengal Elections

Mumbai: Few days after the BJP released its star campaigners list, the Congress on Friday released its list of 30-star campaigners for the West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021. According to the Congress list.

According to the list, the interim head of the party, Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and party leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Sachin Pilot, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Abhijit Mukherjee and Mohammad Azharuddin are some of the prominent leaders who have been elected star campaigners for the assembly elections in West Bengal.

Sonia Gandhi, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and party leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Sachin Pilot, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Abhijit Mukherjee and Mohammad Azharuddin are some of the prominent leaders.

This time, West Bengal will witness a fierce battle between the BJP and the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in 8-phase polling led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Voting will take place on 27 March, 1 April, 6 April, 10 April, 17 April, 22 April, 26 April and 29 April. The results for 294 assembly seats will be announced on 2 May.

In particular, the term of the 16th Legislative Assembly of West Bengal will end on May 30 this year. A total of 7,34,07,832 voters will elect their representative for the 17th Assembly of West Bengal.
