Manmohan Singh Thankful Towards Congress Leaders, Files RS Nomination Seat From Rajasthan

Mumbai: The former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and senior Congress leader Manmohan Singh Filed RS nomination from Rajasthan, the veteran politician thanked the Congress Party Leaders.

While responding to the reporters he said, “I am very grateful to the Congress party and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, deputy Chief minister Sachin Pilot and all the members of the Congress Legislative Party for nominating me to this vacant seat in the council of states.”

Mr Singh also mentioned that the seat abruptly went vacant due to the untimely demise of one of the BJP candidates. On June 24 the Rajasthan BJP unit Chief Madan Lal Saini passed away. Manmohan Singh expressed his sympathies to the family.

“I recognize that there are sad circumstances in which the vacancy had arisen. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the members of the Saini family.”

According to the reports by ANI, the former Prime Minister also promised he will work hard to make sure that the interests of the people state are protected. “I will do my very best and carry out whatever is possible to promote the cause of the people of Rajasthan. I once again thank the people of Rajasthan and Congress party for giving me this opportunity, this unique privilege of serving Rajasthan in the council of states.”
