Many Of You In Touch With Us, Let’s Find A Way: Maha CM Writes To Rebel MLAs

Mumbai: Amid Maharashtra’s political crisis, CM Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday appealed to rebel Shiv Sena MLAs to return to Mumbai and talk to him.

In an effort to pacify them and bring them back home, Uddhav Thackeray tried to reach them while camping in Guwahati.

“You are still with Shiv Sena at heart,” he said in an emotional message to the MLAs. Also Read: Eknath Shinde Claims Support Of 50 Shiv Sena MLAs, Says Will Return To Mumbai Shortly

Uddhav said, “You have been in lockdown for the last few days. Every day new information comes out. Many of you are still in touch.” Also Read: 15-20 Rebel MLAs In Touch With Shiv Sena, Want To Come Back: Aaditya Thackeray

“Many of you are in touch with us, you are still in Shiv Sena at heart; The family members of some MLAs also contacted me and conveyed their sentiments to me,” he said in a letter to the rebel MLAs.

He said that every day new information is coming out about the MLAs stuck in Guwahati for the last few days.

“As the head of the Shiv Sena family, I respect your sentiments, get rid of confusion. We will sit together and find a way out… If you come forward and speak, we will find a way out.”

Uddhav also urged the rebel MLAs not to fall prey to anyone’s claims and said that they will not get the respect that Shiv Sena has given them elsewhere.

“If you come face to face then we can definitely find some way out. As Shiv Sena chief and head of the family, I still worry about you,” he pleaded.

On the other hand, Eknath Shinde earlier in the day claimed he has 50 MLAs with him at Guwahati, 40 of them from the Sena.
