Many People Still Not Taking Lockdown Seriously; Please Save Yourself: PM Modi

Mumbai: A day after the “Janata curfew” Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked state governments to properly follow the lockdown rules and called on citizens to take the issue seriously.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on Twitter and wrote, “Many people are still not taking the lockdown seriously. Please save your family by doing so, save your family, follow the instructions seriously. I request the state governments to ensure the rules and laws are followed.”

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced a complete lockout for prevention and prevention of COVID-19 from 23 March to 31 March in Delhi.

The government stated that their operations in all shops, commercial establishments, factories, workshops, offices, warehouses, weekly markets would be halted and only essential services and installations were exempted from lockdown.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the number of positive coronavirus patients in India rose to 396 on Sunday.
