Maruti ECO Used In Pulwama Terror Attack, NIA Identified The Owner

Mumbai: According to the NIA reports the vehicle which was used in Pulwama attack has been identified.
The PTI quoted an official spokesperson as saying that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made significant success in the investigation after identifying the vehicle and its owner after placing the remains of the car recovered from the spot of the explosion.

In collaboration with NIA investigators, forensics and automobile experts, the vehicles used in the explosion are able to identify the chassis number MA3ERLF1SOO183735 in the form of Maruti ECO and engine number G12316164140.

As per reports in 2011, the vehicle was sold to Mohammed Jaleel Ahmed Haqqani, who is resident of Heaven Colony in Anantnag and subsequently, it changed hands seven times and finally reached Sajjad Bhat, a resident of Bijbehara in south Kashmir.

The vehicle was purchased on February 4th, the spokesman said, adding the linking of Sajjad was Shiraz-Ul-Uloom, a student of Shopian.

A team of NIA and police raided Sajjad’s house on Saturday but he was not present.

He has allegedly joined Jaish-e-Mohammad and his picture has also been shown on social media where he is seen holding arms.

Around 40 CRPF personnel were killed in terror attack on 14th February 2019, in Jammu Kashmir at Pulwama district were a convoy of 75 bus were passing from Jammu to Srinagar.
