The 19-year-old had photographs of four farmer leaders – Balbir Singh Rajewal, Baldev Singh Sirsa, Kuldeep Sandhu and Jagjit Singh on his mobile phone.
Yogesh claimed that he along with nine of his associates would have killed these four leaders.
Police are investigating his mobile phone and social media accounts to see her conversation and who she was in contact with to carry out the killings.
The claims of the teenager are being verified through several channels.
However, the police have completely denied that he was part of any police force or local intelligence. The Haryana Police is speaking to his family members and tracking his friends.
Farmer leaders held a press conference in Delhi last night and accused the masked man of plotting murder and causing chaos during the proposed tractor rally of farmers on 26 January (Republic Day) on the Singhu border.
