The ninth round of Corps Commander Level talks between India and China to address the ongoing military standoff in Ladakh ended at 2:30 pm on Monday.

The meeting lasted for more than 15 hours, starting at 11 am on Sunday in Moldo in front of Chushul in the East Ladakh sector. The two countries have been at loggerheads along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) since April-May last year.

While China began to gain large-scale military strength with the LAC, India responded by supporting the construction. Several rounds of talks have failed to produce any significant results in reducing border tensions.
