Minor Girl Was Allegedly Gang-Raped While Returning From Tuition In UP, Dies By Suicide

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a class 10 student from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh died by suicide after she was allegedly abducted and gang-raped while she was coming back from a tuition class.

The 15-year-old girl had gone for tuition and while she was returning four men allegedly abducted and sexually abused her. After returning home, she narrated the whole scenario to her parents and later on, she consumed some poisonous substance following which her parents to rush to a hospital, where she died during the treatment.

The victim wrote a suicide note in which she named four men, including Lakhan and Vikas from a neighbouring village, besides two others.

Meerut’s Rural Superintendent of Police Keshav Kumar said, four youths were involved in abducting and raping the girl and the police on the basis of a suicide note left by the girl have arrested two of the accused and have launched a manhunt to nab two others.

According to the police, the girl died in the hospital during the treatment.
