Model Found Dead At Her Home 2 Days After Model Friend Was Found Hanging In Kolkata

Mumbai: A model has been found dead at her residence in Kolkata’s Patuli area, the second such incident in three days, the police said.

Manjusha Neogi’s mother claimed that her daughter was suffering from “acute depression” after the death of her friend and colleague in the industry, Bidisha De Majumder. Also Read: 21-Year-Old Actress Bidisha Found Hanging At Her Flat In Kolkata

D Majumdar, a popular face in the bridal makeup photoshoot, was also found hanging inside his rented apartment in the Dum Dum area on Wednesday evening.

Niyogi’s body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death, a police official said.

“My daughter was severely depressed following her friend Bidisha’s death and was constantly talking about her since then,” Niyogi’s mother said.

Popular television actor Pallabi Dey was also found hanging inside her rented apartment in the Garfa area around a fortnight ago.
