Model, Photographer Arrested In Porn Racket For Forcing 2 Women To Shoot Nude Video

Kolkata: A model and a photographer were arrested in Kolkata for their alleged involvement in the shooting and circulating pornographic videos, days after two women claimed they were forced to shoot for an adult film.

The Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate with the help of a cyber cell traced the two and arrested them on Thursday evening, the official told PTI.

“Both the accused may be part of an inter-state racket operating such websites. There may be more people involved in this state. The investigation is at a very preliminary stage,” he told PTI.

An FIR was registered earlier in the week based on complaints filed by two women, who alleged that they were forced to participate in an obscene shoot, the video of which was later circulated on the internet.

One of the women said her video has been uploaded on several websites and apps, some of which are apparently linked to businessman Raj Kundra and his venture, PTI reported.

Both have alleged that they received notices on Facebook asking for models for a photoshoot and came in contact with advertisers, who then forced them to participate in a pornographic video shoot at an indoor studio near Ballygunge railway station.
