Modi, Shah Giving Contrasting Statements On NRC: NCP Leader Supriya Sule

Mumbai: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, NCP leader Supriya Sule alleged that the two leaders were making contrary statements on the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and said they had doubts whether the two were talking.

Alleging that the BJP is unable to run the economy as it has created an atmosphere of unrest due to NRC and citizenship law, Sule said: “The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are making contrary statements which I suspect they will talk to each Can’t do others. I was in Parliament when the Home Minister Amit Shah said that he would implement NRC across India, whereas Prime Minister Modi is now saying that something like this is not. ”

She refused the Center on the economic slowdown and said that foreign countries are “in awe of whether they will invest in India”.

The NCP leader also participated in the women’s protest at Agripada against CAA and NRC.

Female protesters were seen holding tricolour and anti-CAA placards. He also chanted ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ and recited Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s poem ‘Hum Dehenge’.
