Multiple Bomb Blasts In Afghanistan Killed Almost 63

Mumbai: Multiple bombs went off in the Jalalabad city of Afghanistan. The restaurants and various city squares were the main targets of the attackers. The blast took place on Monday when the city had planned to celebrate its 100th Independence Day.

In all six bomb blasts happened in the city, injuring at least thirty people in the process, informed a local official.  Whereas the Senior health officer Fahim Bashari said that the blasts took the life of thirty-four people and that no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

The people in Afghanistan have opted to stay in since Saturday even on their Independence Day owing to the attacks. The city administration has also curtailed the celebrations in order to pay respect to those who became a victim of the blast.

The president of Afghanistan is working along with the US president to eradicate terrorism from their nation. In the latest meeting between the US president and the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, it was seen that Mr. Trump had also asked Pakistan to spread peace message curb the terrorism in Afghanistan, which has become a base for violence.

The country is still said to under a massive threat. In agreement, even the US had agreed to withdraw as much as 14000 troops from the country only if the Taliban allows its troops. Though Mr. Trump said that he will leave ‘very significant amount of intelligence troops behind.’
