Mumbai Indians Beats Chennai Super Kings By 6 Wickets Enters In Final For Fifth Time

Mumbai: Thriller matches its time Qualifier 1 between CSK and Mumbai Indians.

If records to be believed Mumbai Indians is the only team who has always created pressure on Thala’s team and in some cases they have been successful to beat one of the most inform team in IPL.

Winning the toss MS Dhoni decided to bat first, as he feels all the teams are dangerous in this tournament but knows Mumbai are a very balanced side.

CSK openers completely failed to contribute in the most important match as they lost their wickets in the early stage of the innings itself, Shane Watson 10 (13) and Faf du Plessis 6 (11).

It was very clear that the pitch was helping spinners, as CSK lost their 3rd wicket to Jayant Yadav in the form of Suresh Raina who completely missed to judge the ball.

Murali Vijay was looking good but soon Mumbai Indians dismissed him as well contributed 26 runs off 26 balls.

Due to slow pitch, both batsmen faced problem to time the ball well, meantime it was also a good partnership between Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni as both were looking to set the defendable score for the opposition.

It was overall good bowling performance by Mumbai Indians, due to which CSK managed to score only 131 runs with the loss of 4 wickets Ms. Dhoni scored 37 runs off 29 balls whereas Ambati Rayudu contributed off 42 runs off 37 balls.

For Mumbai Indians, Rahul Chahar took 2 wickets following Krunal Pandya and Jayant Yadav provided 1 wicket each.

Chasing the small total of 132 runs Mumbai was looking good but lost captain Rohit Sharma in first over following CSK dismissed Quinton De Kock in next over itself.

The pressure was completely on Mumbai Indians as they lost both openers at an early stage of the innings but soon Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan handled the situation very well had a good partnership between them, CSK was creating pressure on both the youngsters but it didn’t bother to them.

Soon Imran Tahir dismissed two batsmen due to which the pressure was again MI but Suryakumar on the other side was playing brilliantly scored 71 runs off 54 balls.

Due to which Mumbai Indians easily defeated CSK by 6 wickets and becomes the first finalist of IPL 2019.
