Mumbai Indians Beats Delhi Capitals By 40 Runs Moves To Second Position

Mumbai: It was Mumbai who decided to bat first and started of well at slow pitch scored 50 + runs in power play both openers Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock played well, meanwhile Amit Mishra striked for his side dismissed Sharma as he scored 30 runs of 22 balls.

Been Cutting failed to score lost wicket scoring single digit run, whereas de Kock also lost his wicket at 10th over of the innings.

Suryakumar Yadav added 26 runs of 27 balls failed to convert it into big score, it was again Pandya brothers who played fearlessly Krunal Pandya scored 37 runs off 26 balls and Hardik Pandya scored 32 off just 15 balls with the help of this Mumbai Indians scored 168 runs with the loss of 5 wickets.

For Delhi Capitals purple cap holder Rabada took 2 wickets in his four over spell following Amit Mishra and Axar Patel provided 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target of 168 runs DC openers failed to provide good start for their side as they lost Dhawan at early stage of innings scored 35 off 22 balls later on Parthiv lost his wicket at 9th over of the innings.

For DC middle over again failed to score Colin Ingram and Shreyas Iyer lost their wickets when team required them the most.

Moving ahead Keemo Paul and Axar Patel failed to perform well it seems pitch is not in such of home team Delhi Capitals totally against the team didn’t helped while bowling as well as while batting for DC.

With the loss of 9 wickets DC managed to score only 128 runs, and Mumbai Indians won by 40 runs which is a huge margin.

For Mumbai Indians Rahul Chahar took 3 wickets following Jasprit provided 2 wickets, Pandya brothers took 1 wickets each.

With this win Mumbai Indians moved to the second position in point table with 12 points.
