Mumbai Rains: Heavy Rainfall Expected In Next 24 hours,

Mumbai: It has been just four hours, the suburban areas received around 20 mm rainfall starting at 8.30 am on Monday, said an official at India.

The Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika (BMC) expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the residents due to heavy rains.

According to the IMD, the Flood waters will continue in the next 24 hours with heavy to heavy rainfall. The IMD Bulletin states, “There are chances of heavy rains today in different places in Raigad and Palghar districts, and in some places of Mumbai and Thane district.”

Even bus services are hit as BEST diverted 37 bus routes at eight waterlogged locations, which are waterlogged, as rains continued at many places.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) assured the citizens that the situation will soon become normal.
