Mumbai: BSP appoints Munquad Ali as president of the party’s state unit, said a press note from the party on Wednesday.
The note said that outgoing state president RS Kushwaha has now been appointed the general secretary of the BSP’s central unit.
In other appointments, Jaunpur MP Shyam Singh Yadav has been given the charge of leading the party in the Lok Sabha in place of Danish Ali, while Ritesh Pandey, BSP MP from Ambedkar Nagar, was appointed as the party’s Deputy Leader in the lower house is.
The press note said that BSP leader Girish Chandra Jatav will remain as Chief Whip of the party in the Lok Sabha.
