Narendra Modi Cabinet Expansion: Full List Of New Ministers

Mumbai: According to reports, 43 leaders will take oath in the first Union Cabinet reshuffle and expansion on Wednesday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to power for a second term in May 2019. Here is the complete list of 43 leaders who will, according to sources. Will take oath as minister today.

Reliable sources have revealed that after the expansion there will be 12 members from the SC community, including two in the cabinet; Eight members of the Council of Ministers will be from the Scheduled Tribes, of whom three will be in the cabinet.

After the cabinet expansion, the Modi government is expected to have 27 OBC leaders, of whom five will be in the cabinet. Sources further said that the number of professionals in the cabinet will increase significantly.

“After the expansion, there will be a total of 13 lawyers, six doctors, five engineers, and seven civil servants,” sources said. As reported by ANI yesterday, the focus will be on reducing the average age of the Modi cabinet, which after the expansion will have 14 ministers under the age of 50 and six ministers in the cabinet.
