Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested three drug peddlers after a raid in Navi Mumbai and seized 336 LSD explosions, 430 grams of cannabis and 6 grams of cocaine on Thursday, an official said.
Based on specific information, NCB’s Mumbai Zonal Unit stopped a car on Wednesday night and recovered 10 grams of ganja and 121 spots of LSD, which is considered a commercial quantity, the official said.
He said that the NCB team caught Arbaaz Sheikh and Vinit Chandran from the car.
Following his interrogation, the NCB team, led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede, conducted searches in Nerul and Navi Mumbai areas, the official said, adding the searches till Thursday evening.
The investigation team seized 420 grams of ganja, 6 grams of cocaine and 215 LSD blots (commercial quantities) from one Suraj Singh.
He said the trio have been operating their network in the vicinity of Nerul, Navi Mumbai for a long time.
The arrested accused will purchase LSD through Dark Net, adding that further investigation is underway.
